Community Engagement

Details

Community engagement refers to the process by which community benefit organizations and individuals build relationships for the purpose of applying a collective vision for the benefit of a community. At Bickerdike, our approach to community engagement emphasizes organizing our residents and members, collaborating with other stakeholders to develop the larger community around our sites, and connecting residents and members to that comprehensive community development.

The department is staffed by a team of experienced organizers and led by the Community Engagement & Organizing Director.
