The 1301 N. Greenview Apartments was built in 1889. In the early 1980s, the building experienced a major fire and was abandoned and in danger of demolition. Bickerdike acquired the building, formed a Limited Partnership with private investors, received financing from the City of Chicago and rehabbed the building in 1985. For the past 30 years, 1301 N. Greenview has provided quality, rental housing affordable to families at 50% AMI.
